Sol Aid Presents Paddle Board Giveaway Contest – Terms & Conditions
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. By participating, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read carefully.
1. Sponsor
This contest is sponsored by Sol Aid (operated by Sunburn Stinks LLC), referred to as “Sponsor” herein.
2. Eligibility
The contest is open to legal residents of the contiguous United States, aged 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees, agents, affiliates, and immediate family members of Sol Aid and its associated companies are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
3. Contest Period
The contest begins on January 8, 2025, and ends on September 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. Entries received after this date and time will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
To enter the contest:
- Follow @sunburnstinks on Instagram or X (formerly Twitter). Entrants must remain followers at the time of judging.
- Post a Photo: Upload and caption a photo featuring Sol Aid After-Sun Spray on Instagram or X. Use the hashtag #SolAid and tag @sunburnstinks in your post.
- Creativity Wins: The most creative entry, judged on humor, photography, or other innovative media, will win.
Alternate Entry: Entrants who do not wish to post on social media may email their photo and caption to contest@sunburnstinks.com. Include your full name and a contact method.
Each entrant may submit one (1) entry per day. Duplicate entries per day will not be considered.
5. Winner Selection
- Entries will be judged by Sol Aid representatives based on creativity, humor, and originality.
- Positive feedback about Sol Aid is welcome but will not influence the outcome.
- Judging will be completed, and the winner contacted within 60 days of contest end (November 29, 2025).
- The winner will be announced on Instagram and X via the @sunburnstinks account.
6. Prize
The winner will receive a Bote™ Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP), delivered to their address within the contiguous United States. If legal or logistical restrictions prevent awarding a Bote™ SUP, a paddle board package of similar value will be awarded. The approximate retail value of the prize is $1,200. The discounted value of the prize at purchase is $599.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.
7. Content Usage
By entering the contest, you grant Sol Aid a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your submitted content (photo and caption) for marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, website, and promotional materials.
- Content will not be sold or misrepresented.
- Entrants retain ownership of their content.
8. Privacy
Your personal information will only be used to administer this contest and contact the winner. We will not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except as required by law.
9. Disqualification
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that:
- Include inappropriate or offensive content.
- Do not comply with these terms.
- Appear fraudulent, manipulated, or in violation of contest rules.
10. Limitation of Liability
By entering, you release Sol Aid, Sunburn Stinks LLC, and its affiliates from any liability for claims, damages, or losses arising from participation or use of the prize. The Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, delayed submissions, or other issues outside its control.
11. General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest in the event of technical issues, fraud, or other reasons beyond its control. All decisions by the Sponsor regarding this contest are final and binding.
