The Sol Aid Promise
FAQs
Does it sting or burn when I spray it on?
No — it’s made to feel cool and refreshing on sun-exposed skin. The apple cider vinegar is diluted in a gentle 1:1 base with soothing botanicals. You’ll notice the scent, but it’s designed to comfort, not sting.
What does it smell like?
Like apple cider vinegar and pure essential oils — natural, not perfumed. The scent fades as it dries. As we say: it doesn’t smell like a chemical-infused perfume, but hey, sunburn stinks.
Is it safe for my face and kids?
Yes — it’s a gentle, cosmetic-grade botanical mist safe for face and body. Avoid the eyes, and patch-test first if your skin is sensitive.
How do I use it?
Mist generously onto sun-exposed skin, let it air-dry, and reapply as needed over the next 24–48 hours. Pair with our Sunset Salve tallow to keep skin hydrated.
How is this different from aloe gel?
Most after-sun gels are mostly water, synthetic thickeners, and fragrance. Sol Aid is apple cider vinegar plus real botanicals chosen to support your skin’s natural moisture balance and microbiome — no fillers, no synthetics.
